The Canvas Strap idea started with the “Canvas Verte” in 2013. Before this, Gunny Straps had only been making straps from leather. Peter Gunny, as the founder, has been perfecting the vintaging method for him and his team, only on leather surfaces, which is where the inspiration came from.
