Safe in water*: Yes, the strap is perfectly safe to be worn in water(swimming,diving,etc), but it will still be wet and the color will slightly fade, giving a better vintage effect (this is what is mostly hoped for by customers)
The Canvas series started with the “Canvas Verte” in 2013. Before this, Gunny Straps had only been making straps from leather. Peter Gunny, as the founder, has been perfecting the vintaging method for him and his team, only on leather surfaces, which is where the inspiration came from.
The Canvas Juan is a part of the (unofficially called) Mysterious Canvas group. By that, we mean that the color distinguishes it from the others. It is mysteriously unique and mixed between Green, Grey, and Brown and it blends beautifully with both hardcore and casual watches.
